To the One

Hey, this is me, your future half.
I dont know where you are, or what you do.
But when we meet,
let's make sure we fall for each other.

And let's do so through the simplest things,
Like lying down with our hands holding each other
As the rain falls slowly trickling through our bodies,
Reliving childhood memories.

In summer when our shirts are drenched in sweat
Running through the sprinklers
Among the wet grass through which we slip and fall,
To be atlast covered in mud, but also joy.

During the freezing times we'll make each other warm
And we'll make snowballs together, and smash them in our neighbors' windows.
When tired, we'll lay down again, with me slowly wiping the snow from your hair.

And when the leaves fall, we'll walk through the orange roads,
Hand in hand.
As the sun glares onto your fine eyes,
They'll remind me of your love.
But promise me, we'll walk through it together.
