The Joy of Nature

The sweet rain embraces the earth
Like a child his childhood toy.
Twitters of birds and other such pleasures,
The chirps of grasshoppers is the ultimate joy.

Grass blades are lined with crystal drops
Which is a whole world of itself.
Lost in it, you forget everything
And immerse in it's spaceousness

Fallen leaves; fallen hopes
Crushed by trodders remind you
Just how fragile you are
Waiting to be shattered into pieces.

Sunlight peeks in through the leaves
Like the friends of yours
Reaching onto you
With hope in times of despair.

All this you see in a flash of your eyes
In your idle times of boredom
Only these short glances can give you
A perfect shot of her.
